Kapton polyimide tape, also known as polyimide masking tape, is crafted from polyimide film and double-sided coated with silicone adhesive.This tape features easy release performance and an ultra-wide working temperature range from -69℃ to 260℃. It will not melt even under direct contact with a soldering iron. It is widely applied for high-temperature shielding, electronic component masking and Class H electrical insulation.Thanks to its outstanding heat resistance and excellent dielectric strength, this product is also referred to as electrical insulation tape, polyimide silicone tape or high temperature resistant tape.Black polyimide tape boasts great temperature resistance, strong adhesion, good flexibility and conformability. It leaves no adhesive residue after removal. It is ideal for powder coating masking, ultra-high temperature baking finish and electroplating processes.
